Deviation Actions
So I finally made a Tumblr: tangledsyntax.tumblr.com/ What I post there will be broadly the same, though because of multi-image posting, I'm showing progress GIF's as well as renders of any 3D models I use to go along with it. More behind the scenes focus, if you will.
Secondly, I've decided to start posting uncolored works here, but I haven't yet decided whether to post them as scraps or post them normally then put them in scraps later or what. For all the time I spend on here you'd think I'd have a better grasp of how DA works. Basically I want to make sure they reach my watchers, but not flood my main gallery with unfinished stuff. Any suggestions are welcome.

Shutting it down.
I have no interest in continuing to post here. Between the shitshow that is Eclipse and the community going to hell after the resulting exodus, there's just no reason to bother. The unified setting for everyone's boxing stuff was a complete failure, I don't enjoy drawing fantasy art, my own action stuff is painfully tedious and un-fun, nobody gives a shit about the sci-fi, original or otherwise, and my former primary character has been completely destroyed by a series of bad decisions that have everyone convinced she's a pathetic jobber who always loses, thus ruining boxing art for me. I am done with attempting damage control. This shit can not be fixed. If I find a new home for my stuff I might post where to find it here, but as it stands are are no other platforms that I'm aware of which tick all the boxes. So with that, I am bowing out of this community. What's left of it at least.
A communication disruption can mean only one thing
DA is at it again with the brilliant functionality we've all come to expect. Attempting to check my notes leads to a 404. Hopefully they fix this soon, or make it worse so I have an excuse to leave like the others. At this point I well and truly do not give a fuck.
Is this happening for anyone else?
New Deviantart continues to be a gigantic pain in the ass. It seems to be curating what submissions I can see in my feed at a glance. I have to deep dive to see what the people who I chose to watch are actually posting. I thought certain artists just hadn't been posting. That, perhaps, like me, they've been struggling to finish anything lately and their output had fallen. Not the case. They have been posting. I just hadn't seen it because I was only clicking on the "watch" tab. It was only after I selected "Deviations" inside of the watch tab that I was able to see recent posts that DA, in its infinite wisdom, decided to skip over. Who wanted this? I don't need some kind of god damned Youtube-esque recommendation algorithm on DA showing me what it thinks I want to see. I want to see what artists I like are posting. That's the art part of Deviantart, but I suppose the administrators have forgotten about that. Sure, it's only one additional click to see all posts, but that

Eclipse sucks. Guess the admins forgot, this isn't fucking Facebook. Fuck whoever thought it would be a good idea to make this place into more social networking bullshit instead of a fucking art site.
